Photo tour to the Lava Valley, 26 September - 2 October , 2022
Lava Valley is a remote place untouched by civilization. Therefore, this tour is only tent accommodation. You must have a Russian passport with you, as we will pass the border post in the village of Mondy. They won't let you through without a passport.
1 day. 26 september
8:00 Departure from Irkutsk. The whole journey is about 500 km, and takes all day. About half of the way is a primer.
On the way we will stop at a roadside cafe in the village of Mondy, with delicious national Buryat cuisine. Then we are waiting for the road through the amazing beauty of the mountain gorge and pass. On the way we will make a couple of short stops for photography.
We will arrive at the place after dark, and we will set up camp.

2 - 4 day. 27 - 28 september
We are engaged in filming the nearby lakes of the lava valley.
28 - 30 september
We move to an even more impressive place, where the most grandiose frozen lava sculptures are located
30 september- 1 october
We move to the waterfall on the Zhom-Bolok river
7 day. 2 october
We are returning to Irkutsk

Schedules and routes can be changed depending on the weather.
Every day I will conduct photography classes, share all my knowledge and skills, as well as individually engage with everyone.

• transfer by SUV from Irkutsk to locations in the lava valley and back
• full three meals a day on the tour (with the exception of cafes on the way)
• professional photo guide
• training sessions on photography and photo processing

• alcohol
• meals in cafes on the way there and back
• air travel from your city to Irkutsk

• camera with 2−3 spare batteries
• tripod
• it is desirable to have lenses from 14 to 200 mm
• polarizing filter
• ND and gradient filters

Clothes
At this time, in the lava valley, the temperature during the day is from +5 to +10, at night from -5 to +5 degrees. It is recommended to have:
• warm shoes
• thermal underwear
• fleece jacket
• windproof jacket
• down jacket with hood
• warm pants
• hat (preferably windproof)
• gloves and mittens
• warm socks
• thermal pads (optional)
• flashlight
